Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 August 2026
This policy was drafted to reflect exactly what this website collects and how it's used. It has not
been reviewed by a lawyer. Have someone qualified check it against UK GDPR and Portuguese/EU data
protection law before treating it as final, particularly the retention and legal-basis sections.
Who we are
Corp Global Consulting ("we", "us", "our") is a specialist IT recruitment agency with a registered
office at 85 Tottenham Court Road, London, W1T 4TQ, United Kingdom, and a nearshore team based in
Portugal. This policy covers corpglobalconsulting.com and the forms on it.
What we collect
We collect different information depending on which form you use:
-
Candidate application form (general or role-specific): full name, email, phone,
location, current or target role, years of experience, preferred job type, tech stack, LinkedIn or
portfolio URL, a link to your CV or an uploaded CV file, and anything you write in the free-text
message field.
-
Hiring brief form (for companies): company name, contact name, work email, phone,
the role(s) you're hiring for, team size, hiring timeline, and your project brief.
-
Automatically: we use privacy-friendly analytics (GoatCounter) that counts page
visits without cookies and without storing anything that identifies you personally.
How we use it
- To match candidates with relevant roles and introduce them to our client companies.
- To respond to hiring briefs and scope recruitment work for client companies.
- To keep a record of who we've spoken with and what was discussed, so our consultants can pick up
conversations without asking you to repeat yourself.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages and roles get visited, so we can improve the site.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Legal basis for processing
Where UK GDPR / EU GDPR applies, we rely on: legitimate interest to process a
candidate's CV and contact details for the purpose of recruitment matching (an interest we consider
compatible with what a candidate reasonably expects when submitting an application); and
contract or steps prior to entering a contract once you're being actively progressed
for a specific role or once a client engages us. Where we rely on legitimate interest, you have the
right to object at any time (see "Your rights" below).
How long we keep it
Candidate data is generally kept for up to 24 months from your last interaction with us, so we can
consider you for future roles without asking you to reapply, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Client and hiring-brief data is kept for as long as the business relationship continues, plus a
reasonable period afterwards for our own records.
Who we share it with
Data submitted through this site passes through, or is stored by, the following processors:
- Netlify — hosting, and form submission handling (Netlify Forms), including any CV
file you attach.
- GitHub — stores the site's content, including job listings; does not receive form
submissions.
- Microsoft 365 — our company email, where form notifications and CVs are
delivered.
- GoatCounter — anonymous, cookie-free page-view analytics.
We also share relevant candidate details with the specific client company you're being considered for,
as part of the recruitment process, and only for that purpose.
Your rights
Under UK/EU data protection law, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it (access).
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data (rectification).
- Ask us to delete your data (erasure), subject to any legal reason we may need to keep it.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Ask for your data in a portable format.
- Complain to a supervisory authority — the UK's ICO
or Portugal's CNPD,
depending on where you're based.
To exercise any of these, email us using the contact below.
