Job description
The person will contribute to the evolution of the Message Broker, a Microsoft BizTalk Server based technology.
The person will be deployed within the context of Company, namely implementation of the legislative proposals and evaluation of the technical compatibility with our systems. Within this scope, the person will be deployed in the following roles:
- Drawing up the technical architecture taking into account all safety aspects of the technical requirements
- Keeping an overview of the architecture and regulations for the safety aspects during the development of the applications for Company at the FPS Home Affairs
- Drawing up a test plan for the safety tests of the developed functionalities of the Belgian applications for Company at the FPS Home Affairs.
- Elaboration of the planning and priorities of the functionalities to be developed regarding the security of the applications.
- Drafting service management scripts (incident, problem and change management) applicable after delivery of the functionalities / applications to be developed and that comply with the prescribed security requirements.

Has a security clearance and is willing to apply for it.

Required Knowledge
- The person has a strong technical background. He is familiar with Enterprise architectures, Business Architectures and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) technologies.
- Practical knowledge of BizTalk Server. Preferably, the person is an architect (or ranger with project experience) to help develop and support a number of ongoing projects.

Required experience
- Person has already successfully completed a number of integration projects and is not afraid to take on some project leader tasks.
- Experience in exchanging data within the context of the European VIS and other similar systems.
- Orchestration of technical processes
- Extensive experience with (large scale) IT projects
- Experience with business process re-engineering
- Ability to organise, plan and prioritize
- Understands the broader context of a project
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Has good interpersonal communication and listening skills.
- Knowledge of Application Management
