Description
Position
You will be responsible for managing the operational platforms (hardware and software) and analysing their functioning on an ongoing basis, in order to improve them, make them more reliable and automate them.

You will be responsible for incident and problem management, technical analysis, programming and testing.

Area: IT production

Management of incidents and problems

- Manage the operational platforms (hardware and software) on a permanent basis.
- Intervene at level 2 and/or 3 in the management of incidents and problems.
- During crisis management (priority 1 incidents), provide emergency solutions to ensure continuity of operations. Coordinate these actions with other entities.
- Follow up and document problems.
- Research and implement sustainable solutions to ensure high availability of IT operations.
- Implementing solutions

- Evaluate the technical feasibility of the solutions to be implemented. Ensure compliance with established standards.
- Carrying out technical implementations on the basis of functional files issued by the Change teams (analysts and developers).
- To be responsible for the operational files. Incorporate and detail, from start to finish, all operational processes. - To federate all associated documentation in order to control all IT applications delivered in production.
- Review and ensure the quality of software components designed by the developers
- Participate in the technical and operational coordination of production deliveries (Release).
- Participate as a technical expert in the Change Advisory Board (CAB)
- Substantive operational tasks

- Mastering the environment (hardware and software) of IT operations.
- Managing the operational side of purely operational platforms such as mainframes, OPCON/xps, EOM UNISYS (Depcon), STAR1100, XEROX (VIP Server, DocuSp, etc.), Biztalk (Receive port & send port), departmental printing (GDD), etc.
- Be responsible for the DRP of the operational platforms and the related documentation.
- Ensure continuous coordination with other IT teams.
- Write and maintain the associated documentation.

Area: Specificities related to IT planning

- Creating and coordinating IT production schedules with users. Ensure that both technical and business requirements are met in order to guarantee users, both internal and external to Federal Insurance, the service requested within the agreed timeframe.
- Managing incidents related to the schedule, measuring their impact and reorganising the schedule in an emergency and, if necessary, providing definitive solutions.
- Manage the daily schedule. Plan (integrate) work on specific requests.
- Participate in the technical and operational coordination of production deliveries (Release).
- To have expertise in the Master Schedule (Opcon) and to develop the use of the tool. Maintain all the synoptic diagrams (VISIO flowchart) of the batch applications and control the correct sequence of execution of the computer applications.

Experience in business procedures, IT processes and planning, with basic knowledge of programming (scripts).
Good knowledge of .net scripting, Visual basic, PowerShell /SQL basic is an asset
